How to create Amanza Smith’s F1 Grand Prix Hairstyle
It’s that season of the year again, the biggest motorsport event - The Grand Prix F1 Racing Championships.
Formula 1 has always been synonymous with luxury embedding, the aspect of class. The event over time has continued to attract various celebrities and public figures in attendance styled in fashion forward pieces and accessories. And although at first glance, beauty and fashion might not be the first thing to look forward to when watching the Grand Prix, it sure is prominent across what we are broadcasted on the gram and socials in general.
Cue Mermade…If you are anything like us, we love seeing celebrities and their stylists creating iconic looks for the event. This year, we had the privilege of recreating one of our favorite styles on the one and only, Amanza Smith! She championed a pink bodice style dress and we just knew she had to do the ultimate sleek, yet voluminous, high ponytail to up the ante - a signature Mermade look that we just can’t get enough of here at the HQ.
And today, we are going to be giving you all the pro tips on how to re-create this chic and sophisticated look, so you too can have your Grand Prix glam moment. 
Here are 6 easy steps to recreate Amanza’s look… Ready? Set. Go!
1. Start with Clean, Dry Hair:
Begin by washing your hair with a cleansing shampoo and conditioner. This will help reduce the frizz whilst providing a smooth foundation for the hairstyle. Ensuring the hair is completely dry and clean will keep the pony looking sleek without looking oily.
2. Prep your hair:
Apply a heat protectant mist to safeguard the hair when styling using heat tools. Using a primer is an additional bonus to keep the hair smooth and silky.
3. Create your part:
Decide whether you want a middle or side part and section your hair using the tail comb, found in your Mermade Hair Comb Kit, part your mane accordingly.
4. Gather your hair and secure:
Using both hands gather your hair at the desired height for your ponytail, making sure to smooth down any bumps or flyaways as you go. Now secure your ponytail with a strong hair band, preferably using a clear elastic tie or one which matches the color of your hair.
5. Wave OR Straighten your Hair:
