Your Ultimate Wash-Free Hair Guide to Coachella Weekend

Are you Coachella ready? It’s going to be a weekend of live, laugh, love… sweat, dirt, sand and smoke. Keeping your mane tamed for the whole weekend isn’t as hard as you think! It just takes prep, planning and a whole lot of dry shampoo.

We’ve rounded up our 3-day style guide, plus we’ve added some extra (hot) tips for best results.

The Day Before

If you’re the kind of person who leaves the ‘repeat’ out of your wash, rinse and repeat routine, you might not want to miss it this time. Make sure you give your locks some extra TLC with that second wash, really massage your scalp, and follow up with some super strong conditioner. If you’re a serum or leave-in conditioner type, don’t forget to add that too! Then pop it in your overnight bag ready for the weekend.

Day 1: Wavy Pony

Waves are literally the poster child for festivals. And there are so many ways to wear them! We are obsessed with this high pony with jewels. Use our 32mm Waver to achieve these waves, and spray with our Mermade Mist to make sure will last all day (and night) long. 

Day 2: Half ‘n’ Half

If you hit the mosh hard, the chances are you got a bit sweaty and now your hair is a bit oily. Get the dry shampoo out and go hard. Pro tip: leave the dry shampoo on for a few minutes before brushing in, you need to give it time to soak up the oil. Add a little extra somethin’ somethin’ with braids, beads, chains and glitter.

Day 3: Space Buns with Oomph

It’s time for more dry shampoo! Your Pony Gel (found in our Pony Kit) is going to be your secret weapon here – it will curb the flyaways and keep your style intact for the day. There is literally no such thing as ‘too much glitter’, so glitter up your scalp (this will also help conceal the grime) and add some jewellery to your ‘do.

After the Festival
