Step 1: Prep Like a Pro
Start with clean, dry hair and detangle to section your hair into 1.5-2 inch pieces - the smaller the section, the more bounce and curve you’ll get.
Step 2: Heat Things Up
Plug your digital rollers into a standard outlet.

Press the power button (1 second) to turn it on

Hold the button down (1 second) to power off
The default temperature is 150°C/302°F, but you can easily adjust:

Press “–” on the digital display for 100°C/212°F

Press “+” on the digital display for 150°C/302°
The display will blink while heating, and stop blinking when rollers are ready (usually within a few minutes).
Step 3: Roll It Up
Once heated, start from the ends of your hair and roll each section inwards toward the roots so the roller sits horizontally. Secure with your Mermade Clips. Repeat across your whole head. Easy.
Leave in for about 10-30 minutes, then gently unwind. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to brush out your curls - hello, volume!

Yes and honestly, you might be surprised by how easy. You just clip them in and let them do their thing while you sip your coffee or do your makeup. No fancy technique needed, just big, bouncy results.
Hot rollers are designed to heat up and remain at a high heat while in the hair during use. Therefore, before styling the entire head, we recommend testing one roller on a small section of hair first, as individual heat tolerance may vary and some scalps may be more sensitive to heat.
Always start on the lowest heat setting, increasing to the high setting only if needed and comfortable.
The rollers heat up in approximately 1 minute. If your hair or scalp is sensitive, you should switch the unit off after heating and allow the rollers to cool slightly before placing them in the hair.
When applying rollers, ensure they are securely clipped and positioned away from direct contact with the scalp, ears, or skin. Rollers should be supported by the hair and clips rather than resting directly on sensitive areas.
If discomfort or irritation occurs, remove the roller immediately and allow it to cool before repositioning and reapplying.

Step One
Start with clean, dry and tangle-free hair. Add a spritz of heat-protectant or our Mermade Mist for smooth, protected strands.
Step Two
Plug in your digital rollers and press the power button to turn them on. Use the plus or minus buttons to set your preferred temperature, and the display will stop blinking once the rollers are fully heated.
Step Three
Starting at the ends, roll each section of hair inward toward the roots and secure with your Mermade Clips. Leave them in for up to 30 minutes, then gently unwind and comb through to reveal soft, voluminous curls.

This has quickly become one of my favourite hair tools. They heat up fast and give a real smooth look. My hair is naturally curly, frizzy with lots of hair. I have cut out having to straighten first saving time.
They are lightweight and easy to use. They don’t feel heavy on the head and th clips hold well in my thick hair.
The curls last well especially when paired with a bit of hairspray. Overall they are a great investment.
