Step 1: Prep Like a Pro
Start with clean, dry hair, detangle and section into 1.5 to 2 inch pieces. The smaller the section, the more bounce and curl you'll get.
Step 2: Heat Things Up
Plug your digital rollers into a standard outlet.

Press the power button (1 second) to turn it on

Hold the button down (1 second) to power off
The rollers have two heat settings. Use the + or – buttons on the digital display to select low or high heat depending on your hair type and styling preference.
The display will blink while heating and stop once the rollers are ready, usually within a few minutes. You will also hear a beep when they’ve reached your selected temperature.
Step 3: Roll It Up
Starting from the ends, roll each section inward toward the roots so the roller sits horizontally and secure with your Mermade Clips. Repeat across half of your head.
Step 4: Max It Out
Place your additional rollers onto the heating board. They will heat automatically within a couple of minutes with no extra steps required.
If you change the heat setting for this next set (using the + or – buttons), you will hear a beep once the new setting is reached.
If you keep the same temperature as the first set, the rollers will automatically heat to that already selected temperature within a minute, and there will be no additional beep for this second set.
If the rollers ever feel too hot, simply remove them from the heating board and let them cool for a minute before using.
Repeat Steps 1 to 3 on the other side of your head using the remaining rollers. More rollers, more bounce, more volume.
Bonus Bits to Know:
- The Hot Rollers will shut off automatically after 60 minutes (safety first). But still - power down and unplug after each use

To use hot rollers, start with clean, dry, detangled hair and section it into 1.5 to 2 inch pieces for the best bounce and shape. Hot rollers are designed to heat up and remain at a high heat while in the hair during use. Therefore, before styling the entire head, we recommend testing one roller on a small section of hair first, as individual heat tolerance may vary and some scalps may be more sensitive to heat.
Always start on the lowest heat setting, increasing to the high setting only if needed and comfortable.
The rollers heat up in approximately 1 minute. If your hair or scalp is sensitive, you should switch the unit off after heating and allow the rollers to cool slightly before placing them in the hair.
When applying rollers, ensure they are securely clipped and positioned away from direct contact with the scalp, ears, or skin. Rollers should be supported by the hair and clips rather than resting directly on sensitive areas.
If discomfort or irritation occurs, remove the roller immediately and allow it to cool before repositioning and reapplying.

Max Volume, Max Rollers
Step 1
Start with clean, dry, detangled hair. Plug in your Digital Hot Rollers Max and switch them on, allowing them to heat up until they beep and are ready to use.
Step Two
Divide your hair into even sections, working in manageable pieces for consistent curls and better hold.
Step Three
Use the first 8 rollers on one half of your head. Roll each section from ends to roots and secure with clips for a smooth, even set.
Step Four
Place the remaining 8 rollers on the heating board and repeat on the other side. Let curls cool completely before removing for maximum bounce and long-lasting volume.
